At 54th Street, we believe that great food starts with fresh produce, high quality meats and ingredients and meals prepared from scratch. Came in for Happy hour and everything was amazing. The nachos were humongous! Also ordered sliders that were on happy hour special.
I've been coming here ever since they opened and I love their food! But two days ago I came here with my mom and my brother around 10 pm. My mom and brother ordered burgers and I ordered wings, my mom told the waiter no pink and my brother said medium well for his and I told the waiter well done and extra wet for my wings. We also ordered appetizers which was fried pickles and waffles fries with cheese and bacon. It was happy hour too, we waited and when our food finally got here, my wings weren't well done, they were so goo... read more
Pros: Good Happy Hour, late night, margs. Cons: the food(It's not good), sticky tables, food on the ground, long wait time for food (even when there's no one there) Pretty much a spot for when nothing else is open and I would still likely choose somewhere else, but if you're in the mood for a margarita and cheese sticks/junk food then you've got your place!
First visit on Valentine's weekend. There was a 45 minute wait, so we decided to order take away and have a drink at the bar while we waited. A waitress took our order promptly and our orders came out quickly. The blackened salmon with a salad and grilled veggies was good and there was so much salad that we split it. A chicken protein bowl was great too. We split a slice of key lime pie. Turned out better this way, since we had dinner in our hotel room and enjoyed a movie too! Despite the crowds, service was excellent.
We came to 54th Street for the first time last night, and let me tell you, it was definitely a great experience for us. They all were very friendly and they were very accommodating, the atmosphere was great! Our sever was Spencer, and he was phenomenal. He was constantly checking up on us, (but not in the annoying always coming to our table way) The food was superb. My husband order a steak and enjoyed it very much, i order the super nachos and the flavors were there. And the gringo dip appetizer was absolutely prefect!!
This place was sooo good. We had the gringo dip and substitute the chips for waffle fries. Had the hand battered sirloin and it was very good. Our waiter Connor was the best. He informed us about how we could get other choices for how we want the meal to come with. Thanks so much Connor. Made my birthday meal such pleasant and delicious dinner experience. Happy belated birthday to you too Connor.
I first visited this 54th Street during the World Series, but it was so packed my party decided to go somewhere else that night. We visited again a few nights ago and I am so glad we did! After a long day, my party and I wanted to go somewhere to grab a drink that also had food. We remembered wanting to try 54th and headed straight over. The ambiance is warm and comfortable. There is a plethora of decoration styles, but it adds to the fun of eating out. There is ample seating whether at the bar to watch the game or a booth t... read more
Our server Tracy was wonderful, very attentive and sweet to the kids. The food was delicious. My son had steak and mashed potatoes, and I split the Havana and fries with my stepmom. All of it was really good. Will go back, thanks!
I eat here a minimum of twice per month. The food is very consistent and always good. They serve probably my favorite salad in San Antonio, the summer blend. The waitstaff in the bar are fantastic! I never get tired of this place!
