We eat here more often than the other American restaurants because they have a good variety of food choices. Our steaks tonight were cooked to order & our loaded baked potatoes were very hot. Our server was a little slow & not very attentive - I'm sure she just needs some additional training. I would also recommend the chicken fried chicken, rattlesnake pasta, or chicken fried steak.
I've eaten here several times, trying various dishes. The service was good, but the menu was not very original (lots of standard bar/grill food) and the food mediocre.
Quoted 30 minutes to be seated. Took over an hour. Watched two open tables that could have seated us sit empty the whole time. Inquired with server and she stated tables were being held for a party of twenty. My understanding is it is against your policy to seat groups that big. I brought a party of 13 on Jan 14th and were refused to be sat together due to this policy at this same restaurant. Ive been to other 54th st. This one was just okay. I had the steak and crab cake. Steak was fine. Crab cake, no so much it looked partially eatenwhen it arrived, but I would guess it just fell apart. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. I also had coleslaw. That wasn't good but I'm picky about my slaw. Others in my party liked what they ordered. It was also very warm in there. No waiting, they got us seated immediately. I wouldn't go back.
Everything was great- the atmosphere, the food, and our server was amazing! We went during happy hour for a few appetizers and drinks. Everything was yummy, was brought out quickly and enough for us to take home leftovers!! Cozy, pub like atmosphere with 1950s nostalgia. Would definitely go back again!

I wish that I could eat here every single night! I can't say enough good things about their food. Every food item I've ordered is absolutely delicious! Some of my favorites are their bacon cheeseburger, onion rings & their carrot cake is the best I've ever eaten!
Took 30 minutes to get our first round of drinks while bartender took at least 20 other orders. Manager was rude and tried to be physically intimidating when I stepped into galley of kitchen to try to get someone to bring boxes and our check. Food was good, but not worth the horrific service. Rude, incompetent, and lazy staff, 0/5 for service, they should all be stocking shelves, not serving customers, whatever they get paid is too much. Will tell everyone not to go here

Always love a good meal from 54th Street! This location did not disappoint, great service, tasty food & great atmosphere. Black Friday lunch, so it wasn't too busy. Will be back!
Such an Olathe gem! Open late and has something for everyone. I especially love their ranch! Really great place and staff is decently friendly. Great for casual dining with good food.
