Such a cool little bar & grill. Everything we ordered was delicious! The Bloody Mary was served in a large glass & it had just the right amount of spice. My husband ordered the prime rib French dip sandwich it was huge and one of the best I've had. I ordered the double smashed burger and it was so good. The veggies were so crisp and fresh. I highly recommend this place. It's our go to whenever we are in the area.

We have eaten here twice while traveling to KC and had two great experiences. It's a fun environment with great service and a broad menu. The food and drink was excellent!

Great first experience at this place! The food is delicious and came out hot! Would highly recommend the gringo dip with your fries that takes it to the next level! Shrooms make a great appetizer they are stiffed with cream cheese and served with a horseradish sauce! Also if you're a tea lover try the iced peach tea so refreshing especially on a hot summer day.

We decided to order appetizers from 54th Street for a small celebration of our wedding with our families. Because of COVID, we had to postpone the big celebration and decided to have a small ceremony/celebration on our wedding day. We ordered the appetizers in advance, so we could allow them to have ample time to make the order. We ordered 12 items, and of the 12 items, only 5 were delivered. Ordered a grilled chicken buffalo salad. The chicken was very dry and tough. Looked like it was sitting out for hours. Some pieces were so tough my fork didn't even go through it. And there was no buffalo flavoring what so ever.

They are open during the COVID-19 pandemic. You can get your food for takeout or through DoorDash. They have a pretty good system set up for either. For a place that has the words grill and bar in their name they have a pretty good selection of food and drinks. I would have expected greasy food but it's really good. I've never liked the location here, it seems so remote. But they seem to have a steady flow of regular customers that come out of their way to dine and drink here so that must tell you something about the qualit... read more

The food just wasn't up to par. I asked for the burger pink, and it was well done. The burger was barely seasoned, and dripping with grease. And the STEAMED vegetables were dripping in butter. Good service, but subpar food.

Love this place, great food, great menu, very friendly servers. Definitely a goto for our family. Nice atmosphere too with a good separation from the bar to keep noise down.

Got 54th street food on Tuesday 2/26/2020. Got two chicken sandwiches. Husband got food poisoning from his and is bedridden. Bottom bun on mine was soggy and the lettuce was brown and soggy. Not going to be dining here again.
