I first called Sears and scheduled an appointment that they later called back to reschedule because they didn't have anyone in the area on the day of the original appointment - I declined to reschedule and called Able Appliance. I spoke with James Neal who was able to diagnose the problem that I was having with my dishwasher over the phone. I was able to fine the part I needed in St Louis and had it shipped overnight to Kansas City. He called the next day to say he would be at my house in 30 minutes. Tim, one of their repairmen, came to my house to fix the dryer. I had to run to the airport to get my husband who flew home, so I wasn't home when Tim arrived. Luckily, our best friend was staying with us and was home to let Tim in. Tim fixed the machine and then cleaned it, giving me time to get home. While he was cleaning it, he found the belt was worn and needed replaced. I okay-ed the replacement and the dryer works like new. We were exceedingly happy with the house call with Able Appliance! The technician, Zach, was very professional, courteous, informative, and sensitive to our concerns. I look forward to future business with this company! It's comforting to have a business you can trust. Additionally, the $9.95 house call was extremely inexpensive and quite unusual as compared to other appliance repair businesses.

We had a problem with water leaking from our dishwasher. Jim from Able was able to diagnose where the water was coming from and had to order a part from St. Louis to fix the problem. It took several days for the part to arrive, but once it did, Jim was able to quickly make the repair and the dishwasher is now working fine. Jim definitely knows his stuff!

Zach did a great job fixing our Samsung refrigerator. Another appliance repair company had been trying to address the problem for over 6 months with multiple visits. Zach identified the root cause and had the problem resolved in less than an hour. Able Appliance also had a part in stock that multiple other companies said was no longer available. They will be the only company I call for appliance service in the future.

We recently had Mark from Able Appliance Repair out to fix our outrageously-expensive refrigerator that we inherited when purchasing our home. Based on the description of the problem, Mark knew the likely problem; however, the fridge was not one he had worked on before. More importantly, he found out soon that the clog in the drain was more troublesome than expected. We have used Able Appliance on multiple occasions. All of their technicians have been great and it goes the same for out latest technician, Jim. The are knowledgeable in most appliances, at least the ones I have. Their prices are fair, they are fast and accurate and they were on time. I will definitely use them in the future.
