We brought our sweet, very sick shitzu mix to Acacia and we saw Dr Marie Fecteau. After listening to his lungs and looking at the lung x-rays, concluded he had a nasty case of aspirational pneumonia. Dr Fecteau and the staff were all great. We saw them every 2 weeks for lung x-rays , every time in anticipation of good news. After 3 months of treatment with Dr Fecteau, he finally is healed. Had a great experience ! Took my dog this morning for an emergency, the staff from the front desk to the tech and the Vet were so accommodating and amazing! I have been in the medical field for 30 years and I was impressed. Dr. Fecteau zoomed right in on the problem and it was something I never even thought of. She did a very thorough exam. My 6 month old kitten Mango has boarded there and just had her first official appointment and I couldn't have felt more at ease. I'm a first time per owner and all staff I've interacted with have come off genuinely kind and friendly! Even when my kitten was under stress due to her first time boarding, they were very professional and their confidence when handling her was very calming. We love Acacia Animal Hospital! My poor Australian Shepherd was suffering from a stomach bug, and my regular vet in Boca wanted to charge us OVER $1,000 to diagnose the issue!! INSANE!! I knew it was time find another vet that was more honest and reasonable, so we decided to try Acacia Animal Hospital, and we're so happy that we did! We just switched here, we were previously going to a vet in Boca. I'm much more comfortable in this office. It has more of a personal feel, the vet was experienced and personable. Will be requesting all our appointments with Dr. Phillips so we have someone we trust and continuity. Vet tech and front desk staff were also VERY pleasant. Also worth pointing out that the fees at this office were reasonable and LOWER than Boca office we were going to. Great place (from the outside)! I have not yet been inside the facility because of COVID but I did a curbside appointment with my English Bulldog for an ear infection. They took such good care of him and even alerted me to a few things I had not noticed to help my old boy. (I notice everything I was so surprised!). The thing that totally sold me though was that Dr. Atria took so much time over the phone to answer all of my questions and concerns. Had my second visit last week, kitty has an conjunctivitis. Laurie Phillips attended to her and she was very kind, personable, and answered all my questions. Very pleasant visit!
Very kind staff, Very happy with service and everything done in good time. With current situation with COVID, they meet you outside and handle everything worry free and touch less for payment and they take your dog back to you in your car! Great surface! Highly recommend!
