Update 7/26/22: Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse and I can no longer recommend them and we will be moving to another practice. Probably the most important things when it comes to any type of medical profession, animal or human, is customer service and communication. I do stress, my interactions while there with the staff have been nothing but pleasant and the prices I've paid so far seem fair. But if you don't get results from tests back or even a phone call that there was an issue and medication is needed... read more

They don't deserve a star, they killed my cat Oliver. We too him in for a check up, they gave 4 meds B-12, antibiotics, stuff on the neck for fleas, and a cream in his ear to help him eat. Almost 700 dollars later he died within in 6 hour, they killed my daughters baby bit. They did an autopsy and said he had an in large heart a silent killer for cats, the vet said he would have died within 2 weeks! They gave her 147 bucks back for the meds, they were my veterinarian for many years. The doctor we had should retire he is abou... read more

Is the person responding under "Business Manager" specifically employed by Acacia? I don't believe so as the email being left to contact, feedback at veterinarycaresandconcerns..., is attached to other "Business Manager" replies across the country...

Updated Response 4/8/22: Hello Mkg M., Acacia Animal Hospital has a partnership with Veterinary Practice Partners (VPP), which supports, among other things, reputation management on behalf of their partner hospitals. We want to assure you that our team is involved in all review responses, but our feedback email is centralized for all partners to enable efficient responses. When you or any client reaches out through our feedback email, the hospital receives this email, so you can trust your concerns are heard by the staff ... read more
Vet tech was EXTREMELY rude. Puppy is 11 weeks old and needs to go to puppy training and this woman said she wouldn't be able to recommend him to the program until he was fully vaccinated???? What a ridiculous closed minded nit wit. Told me my dog might die. He's been vaccinated on schedule so far. How does a puppy go to puppy training if they have to be fully vaccinated? When fully vaccinated doesn't happen until 5 months? My dog will be a 100 pounds by then!!!!

I took my 3 year old dog here not to long ago because she seemed to have a breathing problem. They said everything seemed fine. They over charged me for the visit. $300 over what I was told. Couple days later my dog had a seizure and we took her to a different animal hospital. Found out her lungs were filled with fluid and had to be rushed to surgery where she then passed. This animal hospital is not attentive and partially killed my dog. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

I have shown breed and cared for Beagles, Irish Wolfhounds and Dachshunds. In other words. Have raised many dogs. And when it was time to have their lives end....It was peaceful reasonable and heartfelt from the vets I used. I recently started to go to Acacia Animal Hospital...My Dachshund recently broke his back, became paralyzed and suffered in this condition for 2 weeks after seeing the vets there 2 times and multiple phone calls. I was repeatedly told my age 14 year old had a 90 percent chance of recovery....I asked ... read more
Boarding is a hassle. Need more test than usual and it's pretty expensive. I've taken my dog to plenty of boarding that didn't require fecal testing. The only thing I needed and it was over $100. Uhm no thanks. You can try to squeeze out money from someone else. Not to mention wasting my time and have me come down without being clear on the phone.
