WOW, i was quite surprised when i read this bc i have been bringing my 2 pitbulls to acacia for a few years now and my dogs and i have always been treated with kindness and respect...I also just aquired another pitbull puppy from acacias new rescue animal adoption program that was thrown out of a car and got a broken leg..Acacia treated her for FREE!!! and she is expected to make a full recovery:))....All the doctors are awesome and really do a great job...I have noticed some changes recently, I guess with the "new manageme... read more

I just had a major procedure for the my most important fellow done at this most wonderful animal hospital. They were not only excellent for him, but treated this overly nervous lady very kindly. I had expected to pay over twice the amount and was totally impressed by their fairness of their billing. My little guy is back to his normal self and I have told all my friends in south Florida that this is the only vet I will recommend. Thank you Dr. Stevens and staff. Stephanie S.

My experience at Acacia Animal Hospital with veterinarian Devin Atria on 10/27/25 was beyond unacceptable--it was appalling. From the moment I walked in, the facility reeked of a foul odor and was visibly filthy. Cats--presumably belonging to the staff--were roaming freely through the waiting area, even jumping on and off the counters where clients are supposed to be served. They ignore phone calls. They will put you on hold repeatedly and then disconnect call. TERRIBLE Customer Service !!! Will never use nor recommend this business!.

We dropped off our 2 fur babies at this facility for teeth cleaning at 8 am this morning and we didn't get a call during their stay till 1:30 pm. When my husband got there to pick them up, he found out they even didn't do their teeth cleaning and they didn't have a decency to call us to pick up our dogs sooner after leaving them in the cage for 5.5 hours (which they are not used to). The front staff are extremely rude and lied about calling us but he showed them he didn't have any calls or any miss calls from ANYBODY. The... read more

I had my minpin in for an emergency hysterectomy. Cost $2500.00. I had my son bring her in a few weeks later to check her stitch area. Looked infected. They charged me $50.00 to look at her stomach to tell me she is fine. I thought that was tacky since this is a recheck. I am cleaning out black stuff from her ears . The front desk girl said that was not part of the check up. They did not even look in her ears while she was there for the $50.00. I showed the female vet the antibiotic's name that worked on another cat who's left eye was sore. So, she gives me a different one and said the cat will have to see a specialist if it didn't work. Well, it didn't work, surprise! So, for $189 I got virtually nothing. She also had an attitude, I think she heard me say to the tech that I went to the University of Illinois and anyone who didn't stand a chance for the med school, went to vet school. Let's start from the beginning. My dog has been chewing at his paws, took him twice, they supposedly did an exam. First bet said it was the food, switched the food. They told me to put him on Purina of all food ! Wow, these people really don't know what they're doing. THEN, I take him in and they put him on Prednisone, so they can see if it's his allergies. I have been going to Acacia for many years,I love DrLeif and I'm very distraught because I do not want to go to a different veterinarian but I've been very unhappy since they've changed Mgmt- it was quite obvious there was a change and it's pretty bad The staff at Acacia was phenomenal,from the front desk to the vet techs & I cannot praise DrLeif & Dr Phillips enough Sad to say the impersonal & rude treatment I've been receiving from the front desk is enough to send me to another Animal Hospital for my 4 cats!
