Based on reviews I decided to take my cat to Acacia when she wasn't feeling good. I've been to two other vets in the area and have always felt that they are too expensive and run unnecessary tests etc... My cat ended up having a very high temp and the Dr. consulted with me and provided me with cost effective options to treat her. He conservatively treated her and was able to bring her fever down and make her feel more comfortable. We wasted years taking our four babies to a vet in Deerfield, recommended to us by the Humane Society, when Acacia was right up the road from us the whole time. We have been going to Acacia for about three years now, and we couldn't be more thrilled with Dr. Chris Stevens (who is a truly compassionate angel), Dr. Mark Stevens, and their wonderful staff. After just relocating from NY back to south FL I didn't have a vet in the area and I got so lucky with this place. They took our Jack Russell right in and treated him pretty quickly. They helped me out to find the most affordable treatment for his pancreatitis and was so caring the whole time. Everyone I encountered was more than pleasant and I plan to board him there In a couple weeks. Thank you thank you
We loved our 1st appointment at this clinic. It's clean, bright, and comfortable. I felt like the staff really cares about their work, and I didn't feel rushed. Front desk staff was open and friendly, and vet techs kind and gentle. I liked that the doctor took time to explain all options for treatments, and that the clinic uses LASER for the surgery I inquired about. Meaning... Less pain, less recovery time. You can tell these guys have, and love animals :) this is now our Vet!
I've been here a few more times since my last review, and am revising my rating to 5 stars. They are always thorough, always on time, and always compassionate. The office is comfortable and the prices are fair. You can tell they are real animal lovers. Definitely recommend them. If you go to their website there is a coupon for a free first exam for your pet.
My 12 year old mix bread dog had been going to a corporate vet for his regular stuff but when he got sick all they wanted to do was drain me of money. A friend recommended Acacia Animal Hospital so we went. As a new patient our first visit was free. Dr. Marc Stevens was the vet we saw and my dog loved him. Saw Acacia on CBS news last night. Wonderful work you are doing with the poor abandoned dogs in the everglades. Tragic about these poor animals. You should all be commended for the time and effort the staff and doctors put in to help these sad defenseless dogs. I think that makes your clinic A+++ in my book.

It's amazing how people (or former disgruntled employees) post lies to try and cover for their own mistakes, immaturity and lack of responsibility.
