So far so good I installed this as a wired scanner. I only used the Brother utility and not the Paperport programs. I only need to scan. Simply software, could be a little more customizable but it works with no problem. Can't comment on paper feed because I only scan a sheet at a time, but it did pull a heavy weight copy without problem.

Speedy Scanner Reasons unknown, the Brother Wireless Portable Compact Desktop Scanner was not going to work wirelessly with my computer. No matter what I did, forget about it. I must say, the sheet of instructions is meager at best. Okay, great. Then I had to get the correct USB cord, which isn’t supplied. Nice and small and pretty fast I liked it.
Great size for occasional scanning They do a pretty good job for the occasional use but if you scan every day, you probably just want to get a MFC printer or a real scanner that can hold more. These things are kind of dainty.

Small footprint and fast scan make it an ideal scanner. This is a great little scanner--little because it has such a small footprint. Fast, too, but I do question the 25ppm, my test shows 4 seconds per page, or 15 ppm. Still fast, I'm not complaining. During that time, it scans both sides of the page. So it can be argues it scans 30 ppm at 200 dpi. A compact and speedy scanner for home office needs This is, for the most part, a fine scanner as long as your expectations are realistic. It’s not designed for heavy-duty scanning needs but it works just fine for occasional scans needed by an individual or a home business.
