Portable Scanning Without a Computer Although my mobile phone does a good job of scanning, it's not always the best tool for the job. A sheet-fed scanner like this lets you scan a larger number of items quickly. This also scans both sides at once. This scanner has a USB attachment so you can scan directly to flash drive. That's perfect for any digitizing project (I'm scanning old tax documents). Setup is a pain since it requires at least a USB cable which isn't included. Effective Prompt delivery Exactly what I needed for my office Small and efficient
Works great. Even though this is a "compact" scanner, I couldn't be happier. I have used one of the other major brands for years, but it kept losing connectivity with my computer. I have not had that issue one time with this new Brother scanner. While it does not do as many pages of the bigger scanners, it works just fine for the few pages I have to scan at one time.
Amazingly fast scanner! Installation went well. Power PDF software was provided and you can initiate a scan directly from Power PDF. I was amazed at how quickly it scanned - it was literally about 3 seconds (total) for a double sided sheet of paper. Also, it scans both sides of a sheet of paper at the same time! I've never seen anything so fast. The scanner is small and compact. It feels solid and looks great on the desk. What's not to love? HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! AAA+++
[ADS1250W] very fast clear scans, hard to keep paper straight, not too hard to install on Microsoft Windows This is a nice compact scanner. Great for desktop use when you have limited space. Also great for travel, although a carrying case is not included. Installing the scanner took some time. I am using this on Windows 10. I had to install Windows drivers as well as desktop client software (hundreds of MB total, so this will take a lot of time if you have slow internet). Good Personal Desktop Scanner As far as desktop scanners go, this one has a perfect/compact form factor. The performance and quality are also very good. Basically, it performs exactly as it should for the size. If you're looking for a scanner that takes up very little desk space, and works reliably, then this is a perfect choice. Small but Powerful! I tell you... this scanner is small. But very efficient and powerful! We never had any issue with the scanner. We scan several times in a day between 5-15 pages at a time! So easy to use!
When it works, it's perfect, when it doesn't, it's a pain... Flawless when it works... Perfect scans, very fast and great quality... Sometimes I can scan 20 pages without an issue. Then I go to scan 5 pages and it jams. Not only do I need to unclear the jam, I need to shut off the unit and then power it up again. Very frustrating , it happens about 25% of the time.
