Love it Works great and easy to use
Fits my Genealogical Needs and I found a case for it I wanted a scanner that could scan genealogical documents (3-10 a month, so low volume user here). I've used it 5 or 6 times so far and I really like it. It did take some effort on my boyfriend;s part to set it up to scan wireless to my computer, so if you aren't so great at technology it might take awhile to figure it out. Good product, good Amazon chat support I use this product at work and like how it automatically deletes the blank backside of the pages when scanning documents, and it's small footprint on my desk. When I purchased mine from Amazon for my home office, I made some mistakes setting it up. The Amazon chat function was wonderful and Natalie and Francis helped me re-set it up using the Brother website software. In under and hour I had wireless scanning. Nice Scanner Had a problem connecting it to my network. I had to use a USB 2.0 to USB 3.0 Micro-B 10 pin cable to complete the installation. Was able to disconnect it after the installation, made sure I reserved the IP address on my wireless router. Make sure you have a USB 2.0 to USB 3.0 Micro-B 10 pin cable handy in case you have an issue with the installation. I like the option of adding pages to the current scan.
Quality scanner with a small footprint We've now ordered five of these scanners for our office. It has turned to our go to scanner of choice due to the quality of the product as well as the small space it takes up on our desks. While not for super large jobs, it meets our needs 99% of the time and if we do have a larger stack, the included software does offer a job builder function to scan parts at a time and combine at the end, seamless. What a scanner Brother does it right. Easy to setup, easy to use, clear scans and OK software for Mac. Would be better if had software like NEAT but not online only like them.
Multi page easy to use We have a laser printer and so I wanted a simple add on scanner. This one plugs into computer and can take multiple sheets. Works well.
