it was pretty straightforward. Other reviewers had an issue with paper ... I was really excited to get this scanner out of the box. It's light weight, but doesn't feel cheaply made. The set up was only complicated by the fact that my hand was resting on the "back" button off to the side of the touch screen, and I couldn't figure out why I couldn't move forward in the set-up prompts. Best document scanner for Chromebook owners This document scanner is excellent. My setup is connected via wireless and I use the email feature to send PDF scans to myself, also set it up to fo FTP as well to a local server. It's been 100% reliable and very easy to use. Once set up it is as simple as place a stack of papers in the scanner and pressing the shortcut button to scan to email. This device is perfect for Chromebook users as you don't need to plug it into a computer to use it
but I am happy with the purchase I have not had a need to use it yet, but I am happy with the purchase. Cant wait to start using it
Just some thoughts! A good scanner but the 20 sheet feed would be better if it were more robust, but prep stacking the pile for scanning is not that much of a bother. The cover lid is in need of paper guide to keep the paper from drawing to one side as the rollers pull the bottom sheet out. However the cost would go up with more bells. All in all great for occasional scanning.

Compact and Super Easy to Use We have had this scanner for a while now and it's awesome! Hooked up to wireless easily, scans easily to multiple pc's with an easy to use interface. Highly recommend to a person who doesn't need to scan multiple pages quickly. It stores so compact. The expense receipt envelope (if needed) is super easy to use and works well. Only good/positive things about this scanner.
