Very useful! great product!!
So far excellent Just set up without many problems wirelessly on Windows 10. Trying to follow the Quick Start manual had me trying to find the pin hole to set up WEP from the router but no hole. Then I realized it was for the 1000 model - keep going for the 1500. The brother website has lots of better info and the separate networking manual as well as about 250 page regular manual that covers both the 1000, 1500, Windows and Mac. Great Scanner Great scanner, it has excited all my expectations. I would not think twice to recommend to someone else. I have learned that some items do scan better on a flat bed but I have an old brother MFC that does that. 98% of what I scan is a document of some kind and this scanner is prefect.
Very fast but picky Very fast but picky. It scans double sided documents very well, even up to VERY high DPI. But if the paper is creased in any way (such as by removing a staple) it has a tendency to fail and spit the remaining sheets out very fast. Annoying but not the end of the world.
Good, reliable scanning I gave up a large desktop scanner with a document feeder for this Brother scanner. It is faster, has good resolution, and the document feeder is (overall) reliable. It does struggle occasionally with flimsy or wrinkled originals, but generally performs better than my older HP scanner. I do miss the flatbed option occasionally... but not often.

Highly Recommeded Very useful and a real time saver.
Great for the price. This is a very nice scanner at half the price of the one I had that became obsolete as it wouldn't work with Windows 10. I was able to sell my old one on Amazon.com for almost enough to buy this one. I've had good experience with Brother printers over the years and decided to try this scanner. It's fast, has not jammed yet and has a lot of features I haven't even gotten to investigating. To go totally paperless for $200 is GREAT. the BEST This is the best scanner ever! It is so fast and double sided things don't take any extra time! It is small and takes up very little space on my desk. I had a HUGE pile of documents to scan for work and when I was done I was almost sad that I had nothing left to scan. I would HIGHLY recommend this scanner.
