Constantly double-feeds, but still the only inexpensive stand-alone network document scanner on the market. I purchased this scanner yesterday (from another source), and have so far scanned about 200 sheets. It has been a frustrating experience, as the scanner double-feeds sheets very easily--about 1 sheet in 10. Worse, it does not detect double-feeds, but just continues scanning as if nothing has happened. As a result, I am having to babysit the scanner very closely. Brother Scanner has geat portability and is reliable so far. Received the scanner on time and in good condition. Connected it to the Samsung laptop and proceeded to try it out. At fist I could not get it to respond appropriately to the single-side - double-side command it almost seem random after it worked properly for the first few pages. Great little scanner Great little scanner. It has a tiny footprint, and scans very quickly. It's capable of high quality archiving of documents such as bills, invoices, and contracts. Super easy setup.
Great little scanner; has worked perfectly Thus far I've had a great experience with this little scanner. I was looking for a stand alone scanner -- I didn't want to have to turn my computer on every time I scan a bill. I also wanted a decent sized paper feeding tray and a small footprint. This has been perfect -- I keep it in the corner where I drop my mail, and use a combination of scanning to a USB drive and direct cloud upload. So far, so good! Purchased this scanner to replace an older Xerox[Visioner] flatbed scanner with adf. Much smaller footprint, and seems to do all that it advertises. I like the wireless connectivity to my computer. Duplex scanning is a plus.
Great once on network A bit tricky to set up on network. But works great. Love double sided one pass through quick scanning.

OK. Scanner I would give it 5 stars for performance, quickness, clarity, ease of use, and duplexing. The size is also great. I gave the scanner 3 stars because when you use the scanner wirelessly it slows down to an unbearably slow scan speed also the paper feeder is border line lousy. The little plastic paper holders that keep your papers aligned in the document feeder, do not do their job.
