Handy! So far this has been a handy tool for me. It's fast and connects directly to my PC. The one thing the user must be careful of is making sure documents are completely straight in the tray before pressing "Start". If they are crooked at all, your scan won't be nice or it may jam.

BINGO - We chose well. Everyone in the office loves this little scanner. Small and sturdy, and super fast. Black and white documents look great and it scans both sides at the same time, so when we scan sales orders it automatically scans the terms on the back of the page. I use the color option when scanning black and white documents that have shading, etc. - it picks up the gray scale better. Probably an ok scanner but I bought it for its advertised Quicken compatible software (which didn't work so well in the end) I mainly bought it for the software - BR-Receipts - that is available with this product. It is claimed to be able to scan receipts and export the data for Quicken. But it didn't work smoothly. It requires you to do some configuration to scan receipts (mainly to be able to recognize the right fields). This is like training the software but the process was very painful. A neat scanner with feature-packed software Really like the wireless features, took a bit of time to set up. Extremely fast! But pages need to be loaded carefully or they will jam.
Great! Works on OSX 10.10.1 MBP Retina. High praise for ease of use: usb or flash drive. Loaded on OSX 10.10.1 and works great on MBP Retina. Very fast and reliable, very few paper jambs (only if loading more that 15+ sheets). Using the double sided scan alot more than I imagined with tax time coming. Small enough to tuck away on a shelf when not in use. I didn't feel secure with their cloud service (requires an upload to the Brother cloud just to tunnel to dropbox or google drive).
