Great for Home or Office I wanted a scanner that I could put anywhere in the home and scan anything straight to a NAS or email to someone and this baby does it. It IS a bit smaller than regular sized scanners, but it does't perform any less. Fast and easy to use.
gets work done We don't need a lot of the features, just plain old document scanning using TWAIN. It works as expected, good quality scans!
Excellent device, it does what you expect it to, and it does it well! The Brother ADS1500W is a good, dependable and durable document scanner. Good scanner . . . unless you want advanced features to work I did a lot of research on scanners on the web before settlin on the Brother ADS1500W. Speed, wireless, working with both Mac and PC, and ease of installation were my critieria. A big draw was the option to have a one-touch button on the scanner that would push scans to my mac. A great scanner I bought this to replace my ancient Canon Lide 20. I chose this scanner in particular because of 2 features: duplex sheet feet scanning, and scan to NAS. There are probably a great many things I could do with this if I connected it directly to a computer and used the bundled software, but my needs aren't that complicated. Solid scanner This is an excellent portable scanner. It seems to have excellent build quality, seems sturdy and well made. I had no problem hooking it up right out of the box. Literally just a few minutes after opening up the box, we were ready and scanning. The two sided feature from such a small footprint device is great.
