LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!!!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. We are purchasing 4 more today. The entire office will go paperless soon. It works great with our network and is easy to set up and use. We can print directly to a printer, email right from the screen or save to a file. Even the OCR works great to convert from a scanned page to Word document. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
Great product for the money. After much hesitation and research, we ended up going with the Brother ADS1500W for our home document scanner. We could not be more pleased with our choice. Brother has created a very useful scanner with exactly the features we wanted, such as scan to the cloud. We've used it with both Google Docs and Dropbox without any problems. Five Stars Easy setup with MAC
Great Machine - when it works I got the scanner and quickly opened the package. I read the instructions and tried to scan a letter. The letter kept getting jammed. I would not work properly. I then called Brother Support who was not helpful. I kept insisting that Brother should support its products. After brow beating them, they finally offered to exchange the scanner. exactly what i was looking for I spent a lot of time looking at compact and portable scanners and kept coming back to the same problem. Of the scanners I found, a limited number would work without being hooked to a computer either by USB or WiFi. Of the ones that were actually "computerless" I was limited with what I could actually do with them. I love this technology and the scanner. This save so much time and space. I now can find all my receipts, paper works with orderly fashion in the computer base on year, month etc... and it is fast scan too. I would highly recommend it... will see how durable this model is. Time will tell.
Good for photos Bought this scanner spur of the moment to scan family pictures for a funeral. Very portable unit. I found it easy to set up, though I am using it with the wired connection. So far scanned over 4,000 photos and recipes with no problems. Won't scan super long documents. Won't scan anything much smaller then a wallet size photo. Easy to use, Space Saving Scanner I purchased this scanner in order to convert my (very large) library of books into PDFs in order to save on space. This scanner fit the bill perfectly. I've scanned thousands of pages in no time (e.g., a 300 page book taking less than 5 minutes).
