The decision to place my father into a memory care unit was incredibly difficult. When I entered Aegis within minutes I knew this was my Dad's new home. The professionalism and high standards for cleanliness was obvious. I was positive he would be well cared for. Thankfully I was correct, the entire staff and nursing team was the absolute best. The caring and loving my Dad received was beyond my expectations. Aegis became our family and words can not express how much I respect and admire this facility.

Aegis Living has been a great and loving home for my mother, who needs full care for Alzheimer's. The staff is so caring and patient. They are awesome! My father, who, with aging, was not safe to be alone at home anymore, moved into the Assisted Living area to live closer to my mom. This helped our family so much since he ended up needing so much more nursing care than we could have provided at home. We knew he was safe and very well cared for. Mom is now 101, and she came to Aegis at age 95. She has needed progressively more care, moving from an independent apartment to Memory care as her memory lessened. But she still has her spark, interested in life. Everyone knows and greets her every day, It is the staff, from Lance to Portia, to Charlene, to Brittany to Andrea to Lorena to Maria,,,and I could name 10 more, who keep her happy and cherished. You get what you pay for in life, and at Aegis it is the People! Thank You!

I needed to move my 97 year old mother into AL, as I work and I didn't want her to be alone in my house. She craved socialization and at 97, shouldn't be alone. We looked at at least 12 places and kept coming back to Aegis. This was my first pick, as well as my mother's. My mother entered Aegis Senior Living Memory Care in March, 2021, after a very difficult four years at home. She had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's in May, 2017 and was already exhibiting signs of agitation, requiring skillful and specialized care. Aegis knew exactly what to do from the very beginning. Can't say enough good things about Aegis in Granada Hills. My Dad is in the latter stages of Alzheimer's Disease, and he requires an extremely high level of care. Prior to Aegis, he's been a resident in two other care communities. While they were adequate, our family never had the peace-of-mind that he's getting proper and thorough care until now. I went to Aegis Granada Hills looking for a new home for my parents. I want to say up front, I did not end up using Aegis, as my folks both became ill and past. However, Brittany Cramer, the woman in charge of sales, was fantastic! We talked many times as my situation unfolded, providing me guidance through a complicated and difficult time. My mom has Alzheimer's and we moved her into Aegis in 2019, after a very difficult few years at home. At the time my mom was extremely agitated and we feared for her safety. We were worried about how she would adjust, and also whether she would be too "difficult" for the staff. My mother has lived at Aegis Granada Hills for over five years. I am so happy my family and I found Aegis. Nobody wants to go through what we have. That said, you must find a community that calms you, brings you the guidance and kindness to ensure your loved one will be well cared for. For me, it's Aegis.
