I have a f350 with a slide in camper. The truck broke down close to my house on a side street. I called them at 5pm on a Tuesday and was told that they could not help me till the morning. I admit that I need a mid sized wrecker to tow my vehicle due to it being over 11 tall with the camper in the bed. This limits the number towing services that can handle it. This review is based on a near accident that happened as a result of an AJ tow truck pulling onto the freeway in an extremely unsafe manner. Going from the shoulder of the freeway from a dead stop across two lanes with cars passing by, me being one of them. I honked, then got the finger. What kind of business tolerates this type of behavior? SMH

Didn't show. Didn't call even though they say they called 7 times but my phone never rang during the wait and no messages were left which would have been the normal thing for them to do if they didn't get an answer like they said. They just didn't want to drive the hour to us and then back so they made an excuse that I didn't answer so they didn't show. AJ's Towing is very dishonest. They damaged my vehicle and flat out refused to take responsibility for it. There are a lot of options out there. Don't make a mistake you'll live to regret. Terrible company!

I had got a quote for my corvette to get towed to a shop. The dispatch told me $150 if it wasn't a difficult tow and $220 if it was difficult I let him know my car was raised for mechanical work and wasn't lowered. I watch the tow driver EASILY put my car on the flat bed didn't scrape or anything. He charges me $220 he said since I was a past customer he'll take $20 off.

These people are idiots. They can't tow a sedan from an.open driveway to a shop for repairs. I will tell everyone I know Not to ever call these incompetent jerks for anything!

Aj's Towing left us stranded in Stockton for hours. If you request a tow from AJ's Towing, they will leave you stranded for hours and may never show up! Horrific customer service in a stressful situation. When our car broke down we requested a tow through our insurance company who subsequently dispatched AJ's Towing to our location. Shortly after getting off the phone with the insurance we received a call from AJ's dispatcher who confirmed our information (vehicle color, location, etc.). I called for a flat tire change. I was told 45 minutes to wait, showed up 1 and 1/2 hours later. The driver couldn't figure out a gate code and argued with me, but was able to get in as I had instructed. He couldn't figure out how to get the spare off and after 40 minutes, I had to figure it out and help him. Then my spare was low on air, so I said to fill it with his compressor (which he was told they had when I made the initial call) and he said his compressor has a dead battery. This guy accepted our request and gave us a time of 1 hour. We waited. And waited. And waited. The tracker kept counting down. Our text messages kept coming saying they are the way. Five minutes after the tracker said he was here (and he wasn't) I called the number again. I obviously woke the guy up who promptly lied to me and said he came and left because weren't there!!!!
