Beautiful place but, unfortunately, awful food. Good service.
Came here for my boyfriend’s birthday and we were severely underwhelmed by the food and service. 1. I had to get up and pour our own water because our drinks weren’t coming. 2. Had to wait at least 25 minutes after finishing our first course to get our second. 3. Asked for my steak medium rare, came back medium well. 4. Asked for a dessert that never came. 5. Didn't honor our reservation. Took a bar table and no service. Moved to bar and still no service. People literally moved from the other side of the bar to try to get a drink. Not sure what was going on. I hope it was a party or something. Unacceptable.
Our first time at AKA - probably the last. It was quiet when we got there and were seated at a table right by the door on a cold, windy evening. Since the place was practically empty, we asked to be moved to the back of the restaurant and they accommodated us. Food is way over priced for the portions you receive. Not sure if it was because of the holidays but the service was horrific. Very friendly staff but kitchen was messing up orders with missed items. Drinks took 20 minutes to come out. I ordered the filet mignon which was very underwhelming. Filet Potstickers was the best item on the menu. Spent over $1,000 and was very displeased with the food and service.
