Whoever does the scheduling for this company is incredibly unprofessional and condescending. I ultimately did not hire them because the way the person that I spoke to talked to me was so over the top rude. He acted like he was doing me a favor by taking my money.

TL;DR: we booked AMS for our move. When they decided to change the price after booking, we were given the option to refund our deposit. A month later, we are still waiting for that refund. We moved at the end of June. Our favorite moving company was unfortunately booked, which led us to All My Sons. The interactions all started off great, so we decided to book their service. I tried unsuccessfully 3 times to get a moving quote from them, the first person I talked to said she would send an estimator out and she didn't show, not once but twice. So I sent another bid request to them and the text I received indicated they had never heard of me. Finally today I called and the guy I was on the phone with said my account had been closed....say what? He said he would find out why and would have someone call me. Could not go lower! Hired them to load our Penske truck for move to AZ. HORRIBLE! No way are they professionals. Communication is the worst....on hold forever every time you call. Paid over $1000 which they collect prior to job completion.....why did I pay you ask....silly 70 year old woman who trusted them to complete job. Could not get last 30+ boxes on which our neighbors did once they looked at all the room unused. Had 3 dozen blankets they did not use. Nothing tied down in the truck. Office desk broken. I booked a date to move with All My Sons Moving & Storage over a month in advance to lock in a rate of $129/hr. Everything seemed on the up & up. Three days before the move I called them to confirm and see what time they would be at my house. From this point on, communication was horrible. When I called, Jason, the manager, was very impatient with me and asked, "what's your question?!" He then told me he couldn't tell me a time and would call me tomorrow or the next day. This is the worst moving company I have ever dealt with. My husband and I are retired Air Force and have moved many times all over the world. This move was only 5 miles away and it was the worst experience and poorest customer service I've ever seen. The movers didn't show up until 3:00, they were supposed to be there at 11:00. They called to say they would be there but didn't show up until 4 hours later with 3 men and not the 4 we were contracted for. Beware. Should have read reviews before hiring them. Paid way more than quoted. They looked at everything that was going to be moved and gathered up their supplies to start packing. It was amazing how many time one had to go back to the truck and get something and the packer stood around and waited. As a result while one was working the other stood around and watched. Horrible, horrible company. If I could give negative stars, I would. Do NOT do business with them. Charged almost $300 more than what was quoted...to move a piano from a house two blocks over from ours. We went with them because they quoted us the cheapest price. Lesson learned. Ended up being almost $600 when othe quotes we received were between $300 and $400. And the movers asked for a tip. Never, ever, EVER hire these guys. Always choose Firefighting's Finest!!! I've never been so mad about a service.

Worst movers ever. They will come out and give you a quote, plan on paying twice that amount. We put a $1700. down payment to "hold our spot" and was told we would pay the rest when the move was complete. They loaded us up and sat in the driveway for 15 minutes before knocking on the door and demanding we pay another $1700. before they would leave.
