ZERO STARS! Absolute worst moving experience. Multiple pieces of furniture damaged. And boxes were lost. The manager is the rudest and most unprofessional individual I’ve ever come across in the service industry. Never use this service. I made that mistake and it will never happen again. I cannot fathom how little my things were cared for. My mother called Monday so they could literally move 100 feet to the new house that they just finished building, and I kid you not they need one bed, one kitchen table, one couch, one entertainment center, one armoire, one love seat, one coffee table, and maybe 15-20 medium boxes 100 feet across the breeze way. Overview: All My Sons called me the day of my move, 30 minutes before their scheduled arrival time to let me know that they did not have the 'manpower' to move me that day. No help or suggestions were offered other than refunding me my deposit. I had scheduled the move a week prior and put down a deposit that day. I spoke with an employee the day before to confirm the move, I also received emails confirming the move. Crew was over an hour late; and, the final bill was twice as high as quoted. Quoted $149 per hour . . . 3.5 hours . . . $521.50. Then, they add a trip charge, fuel charge, etc. etc. etc. . . . new total $950. They don't disclose all the fee until they are unloading the truck, which requires full payment before they start. No wonder the crew said they had very little work over the past couple of weeks . . . will choose an honest mover next time.
i was on there books for 2 months! i was supposed to be moved this morning at 830, then someone called in sick, but my voicemail says truck maintenance..anyway drivers show up at 1, and decide its 2 hot and too much to move! i have a one bedroom apartment! i am not moved! Never use this company!
I don’t think I’ve ever done this before but I am so angry I m about to explode! I paid All My Sons Moving ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS to move me from a 1 bedroom apartment, one mile to another 1 bedroom apartment. Putting everything in the truck took longer than it should but it’s hot so I didn’t mind. When we got to my new place they started arguing. One of them didn’t want to work anymore. We had a big move and several antiques. They assured us they had a crew that “specializes in antiques.” We ended up with 8 people who had no experience with ANY move, much less antiques. Turned out that it was the first day of work for some and none of them had any training. Didn’t know how to bring furniture off the truck or through doorways. PLEASE PLEASE Beware of the moving company. I would never wish this feeling upon anyone. Now, I will never refer this company to anyone. We had several items stolen from our home. We even tipped the movers when leaving thinking they did a great job. We had 2 boxes crushed that had wedding china inside. We had medicine, diamonds, rings, firearms and electronics stolen from our home. Please beware or make sure nothing is lose around the house. EVERYTHING is inside sealed in a box completely. I want to start by saying this is the first time iv ever left a negative review. I usually feel uncomfortable saying anything negative about a business. But with my experience plus how much money was spent and how much it’s bothering me I’m leaving one. With that being said here it is: My husband and I moved from an apartment to a house.
