I wanted to share about our experience with American Fence. When we began making calls to find a fencing company, American Fence was the first to call us back. The salesman communicated about the estimate process very well. We paid the deposit and were excited to have a fence coming in a few weeks. We explained to our salesman that the purpose of our fence was for a new small puppy, so we needed to be sure that there were no gaps or areas that the puppy could get out. The worst customer service I have ever experienced as a home owner for the last 50 years. Four months of delays and excuses and three changes of leadership personal. The quality of the work is minimally acceptable. After four months of “work” a non-itemized bill was sent to my wife less than eight hours after they “finished”. It should have been sent to our general contractor. They left posts that were dirty and post holes with no grass, but plenty of weeds because of the long weeks between setting the posts and putting... read more

THIS PLACE IS AN ABSOLUTE JOKE! THE LOCAL CRACKHEAD DOWN THE STREET WILL DO A WAAAYYY BETTER JOB FOR ALOT CHEAPER AND ALOT QUICKER. GETTING THESE JOKES TO COMMUNICATE WITH YOU IS HARDER THEN PULLING TEETH.

Went out to water my lawn and noticed my gate open this morning I shut it and turned around to a guy walking over. I asked if he opened my gate and went into my backyard and left my gate open (I have dogs) he said ” oh we are with the fence company (for my neighbor) and we are building the fence next door..... I was going to ask if it was ok to enter your backyard....” when? After you already trespassed and left my gate wide open. They put an extremely expensive fence in for our neighbors. Here is our view of the fence. Rip off and poor work. we complained to our neighbor about it as we had agreed to pay for our part of the fence. And she says they refuse to get back to her. We have not paid the neighbor yet as I think they either need to fix our fence or give us a discount

The communication and professionalism from American Fence has been extremely disappointing. We finalized our fence installation paperwork and payment in late March. Shortly after, our yard was marked with painted lines and flags by the utility company and internet provider. For all of April and half of May, my yard looked awful, as I needed to leave the flags in place as grass grew a foot tall in those spots. Several weeks ago we informed our landlord that our backyard fence needed repairs. They had some quoting done for us and landed on this company. Since then, neither us, nor our landlord, have been informed about scheduled visits to the property. Random utility workers started showing up to mark and spray paint in the yard - no calls prior. Luckily, we were home so it was okay to get the dog inside and allow them access to the backyard. I can NEVER get a response from anyone, I have emailed, called, left FB messages. I have had nothing but problems from the initial install to months later the fence looking like it will fall over. The gates were put to close to my house, wedged against the gutters and unable to be opened. They even bent my gutter to try to get the gate to fit. I finally got someone to come look at it and then it took over a month for me to get someone to respond. I am really worried what this fence will even look like years down the road. P... read more

I highly recommend going with a different company. It has been 1 and a half months of attempting to get a simple bid. First, they stated the ground was too muddy for a bid, fair enough. However, after one missed call from the company it has been nothing short of a chase. The first reason for no response was due to a system being down for bidding, not sure how this prevents a phone call or email. The second was that Jeff, their estimator, was “really busy”, so busy it took 2 weeks for a response from Tami, their Admin. Assist... read more
