I started out with almost perfect credit and was under the assumption that I was consolidating. a few bills. When I signed up I told the gentleman to start withdrawaling my payments right away so I wouldn't get behind. In my bills. Now I can't even answer my phone from bill collectors calling all day everyday, and my credit is ruined. I have to stay in the program now because they have gotten me so far behind that I can't catch up now, but I'm still making my payments to the program faithfully.
I disliked that every time called into Americor cause of anxiety u never received straight answer. li got t one settlement and my part 6$$.00. I wasn’t told that my fee was going be over 700.00. When I found it wasn’t titled nothing. I called in the person knew nothing I was asking. she didn’t know. Then days later it was titled. Also the FB site says your u can talk about your experience with other members. I got knocked out of there for almost 4 days. Called the Americor was told I wasn’t blocked out. so I sent pictures. Cancelled this service within 48 hours due to circumstances beyond my control, and had this company deduct money from my account after I cancelled 3 weeks prior
They know how to sell, but I stopped paying since no feedback on if collections made
Don't understand not being able to apply for credit for debt not in the program
I keep paying every month but nothing has been done yet.
This did NOT help me at all. The monthly payments made worse for me to try to keep up with my necessary bills (lights, gas, water, groceries, car payments, medical bills etc.) I understand what they're trying to do but they lock you in a monthly payment with no option to skip a month in case of emergencies. They also charge a monthly fee.....your already in enough debt when you start the program and then you have to pay an additional fee. This just did not work for me and my family. So and exactly where I started a year ago.
I've been paying americor since November of 2022, all ive got so far is ruined credit, my credit score was up to where I could get credit noe it has plummeted to the low 400, I wish I never fooled with americor...bill collectors call me all day every day now, ...I'm paying my part, I don't see where they have been doing their part.
