Christopher was really great but things are moving slowly. I haven’t been updated on your progress and my creditors are still trying to reach me. I DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY. Why is this review asking me those questions?
Americor cancelled my account without authorization and kept my funds stating it was for fees I accumulated. They mentioned on multiple calls there would be no fees for canceling but went ahead and charged fees and cancelled my account when I clearly asked for information only. They even had in the notes that I had not cancelled.
In the beginning alot of pressure was taken off me knowing Americor was helping settle my debt to where I could pay it off in what they said would be 3 yrs. When it came to the line of credit to pay off settled debt, I was taken to the cleaners. What was $18,000 debt turned into a $24,000 debt which included 23% in interest. After 8 mos of not paying my regular debt, it was too late to back down. They had me right where they wanted me. I will not recommend Americor or any debt settlement agency. Hello Jessica, I have been a client for six months now two of my creditors are getting extremely antsy about the payment. They are REPUBLIC FINANCE (of which I have forwarded legal documents to you. The other is LOUISIANA FEDERAL CREDIT UNION (of which they are in the process of filing suit against me.
