The company reps were friendly, however, they are not totally honest with all options open to someone in heavy debt, barely employed, and elderly. I only found out from a totally disrelated company (after signing up that Americor) that Chapter 7 bankruptcy was actually the best option for by Americor as I was in the 3 day window where cancellations were allowed. They took the money out of my bank account before they were supposed to. My experience has been not so good.
No communication. I they take the monthly payment. I’m not sure what the progress is at this point. Not sure if it is worth it.
They do very well in the beginning and then towards the end they slack off

Well I was under the impression I was going to b debt free in 3 years and it's going to b closer to 5 years now! I made payments to Americor for 8 months then was offered a loan to pay off all of the companies I enrolled in the program. I was told about what they thought they could settle my accounts for which was about half of what I owed. But what I didn't realize was the half they negotiated was how they get paid. I'm not saving much. I'm actually going to end up paying more.
I'm getting ads for them in my inbox, not not information on what's going on with my account. I already signed up for their services. I'm not getting any phone calls either. They're very knowledgeable, the individual I spoke with was very knowledgeable, very good on the phone.
Not helping, my debts have increased and my credit score is lower then before.
