The vets themselves have always been okay (I've used them for about 15 years), but the front desk people are absolutely horrible. And I don't just mean less than helpful. Brusque, snippy, downright uncaring. Most recently, I called to take advantage of the in-home end-of-life service they specifically offer on their website (and I had used in the past) and the woman said, "you'll have to call back tomorrow to see if they time for that." I took my cat to Animal Kind because it's right across the street from my apartment. I just moved to Brooklyn and my cat has had problems with his eye. After spending hundreds of dollars on recommended testing, Dr. Patil told me that according to the tests he was healthy and they didn't know what was wrong with him.
