After 10 years of taking my two Golden Retrievers, my little pit bull, a tiny Pomeranian mix, and eleven cats I'm done with this place.....the veterinarians keep changing, and their prices keep going up. It's weird that my original review was removed however this vet gave my pet a huge bruise on her neck and couldn't confirm how it happened. My friend let me know they probably tried to take blood from her neck. My dog is furry. How would you find anything through the fur. She has four available four legs to use but they decided to go through the forest of fur, and hurt her. If you love surprise charges, terrible service, and your dog being held captive. then this is your place! When I called prior to arrival and when I arrived, The staff failed to inform me about a $150 emergency fee, for not having an appointment. I've been coming here for years, I've never seen this charge. When I told Dr. Babaev, he insisted that she did. He pretty much called me a liar. They are the worst!!!! This place was our vet for 2.5 years and within these 2.5 years only once we called them for an emergency and non of the four doctors was available to talk, they said they would call us in 5, they called us half an hour later saying all the doctors were super busy and could not talk to us before 1 hour...and this was a possible poisoning situation! Of course we switched to an other vet clinic immediately!

The vets and techs are super great. The schedulers mess up frequently and shuffle you back and forth between appointments and the waits can be long.

I am a client here at Animal Kind, I have been a client for over 10 years for several of my cats. Overall, today has been the last day that I will be bringing my little King to this Vet that I have been bringing him to for years. , I brought him to VERG for diagnosis of constipation by which he needed an enema, which he got and also and X-ray, and several other test..kidneys and liver. I took my cat to the vet for a UTI and was charged $300 for tests and given med stating once results of urine test was received the med would be confirmed. Got call which said there was concern my cat (who was fine other than the UTI by the way) if not showing signs of being better would need to be hospitalized for kidneys and to get fluids to put under her skin. What an absolute let down. As some of you may know from my Yelp reviews, we have had the hardest time finding good pet care in Brooklyn NY. We did finally find a great Vet but it is NOT this one! I wasn't going to say anything about this place even though they did not advise us correctly about what paperwork we needed to fly our dogs and cats to London and I've had to stay behind in NY for an extra 2 1/2 weeks in an empty apartment because of it. Usually very good with both my pets when I lived there, but recommended and performed an unnecessary dental extraction on my Shiba.
