RecommendedI recently brought my toy poodle in for bloody diarrhea. The staff took great care of my girl. The doctor talked with me about everything that was going on and helped me make the best decision for caring for my girl.
they are amazing. they treated my cat for an injury to her back right paw. my cat has already healed so great! I will recommend this place to everyone. it is a 2hr drive for anyone in St Mary's County but we'll Worth the drive and money.
They are kind, friendly and work quickly to care of pet. I couldn't have asked for anything more. I'm so thankful they are there.

They took really great care of our fur baby leg injury. The only concern I had was the word “DEPOSIT”. It’s now 10:00 pm, mind you our fur baby, after being released from an emergency vet who gave us little hope finally was in contact with an “low cost surgical center” in Virginia. Only to find out late in the day they did not have plates and/or screws, as relayed to us, for our 20 pound dog and suggested I make calls to locate another surgical center. Our cat ended up at the vet last Saturday night. After calling six other emergency vets whom were all full, AA told us to bring her in. They too were full, going to be at least 4 hours, but they still let us take her in. Although we weren't allowed inside, everyone we spoke with, we're friendly and kind.
Our pup came down with pancreatitis and ended at the AAVEC twice in two weeks. The staff was great and the doctors were all so compassionate. Thankfully, he seems to be on the mend and we are grateful for them for taking good care of our guy.
