The person who answered the phone was kind, calm, and reassuring, and all the people at the front desk were so friendly even though we walked in at a bit of a rush time. RecommendedI would highly recommend AAVEC to any pet owner! We had some concerns about my 5 month old Bloodhound being a bit lethargic and seeming constipated despite eating and drinking regularly so we decided to call our vet. We were referred to AAVEC in case he ingested something he shouldn't have. When I called, the receptionist who picked up the phone was very kind and helpful. RecommendedThese are incredibly kind and caring people. When our beautiful cat, Pip, developed an incurable mammary cancer that ulcerated they took us without hesitation. They were so understanding and obviously understood that this wasn't just a cat but a member of our family. We were all treated with compassion and never felt rushed as our Pip crossed the Rainbow Bridge. So many thank yous to them.

RecommendedWe live near Ocean City, and our vet referred us here because our dog Panda, had zero platelets and was very sick. Everyone we encountered here was compassionate, caring and extremely knowledgeable and we knew our boy was in great hands. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder which attacks platelets and despite the best efforts of everyone there, he didn’t make it. RecommendedWe had a little kitten pass away suddenly on Thursday morning (11/9) and we brought her in for confirmation and cremation arrangements. Now the Triage nurse was very warm, kind, and helpful. The receptionist closest to the exam room was also helpful and patient. But, what I didn't appreciate was the snickering and insensitivity displayed from the other 2 receptionists on duty that morning. My fiancé and I were quite distraught about what had happened.
