This clinic cares for all of my animals. Recently we had to rush our sweet little yorkie in for surgery. The staff was wonderful, kind and caring. I appreciate their rush efforts to help my sweet fur baby and the open line of communication between them and us. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CLINIC!! I couldn’t imagine taking my animals anywhere else. We have used other local vets in the past that were decent but none compare to Appalachian New River Vet!!

The staff is good, the Dr.s are great. They will never rush you, if there is a problem, they take care to explain everything. They take time to answer questions.

We have been taking our precious fur babies to Appalachian New River Veterinary Associates (ANRVA) since 1986. Although, we have seen several veterinary and staff transitions from then to now, we have always had a positive experience, sometimes even when the diagnosis was not to our liking. Our fur babies have always been treated so kind and with utmost dignity during all visits. After all, our fur babies are more than pets...they are family and very much loved. They have been my 7 month GSD vets since he was a baby. We have the Paw Plan which has been a great investment in Bandit’s health and wellness. Drs. Kreis and McAdams are wonderful and caring. I am so happy to chosen them. All the staff are awesome as well. I highly recommend them!
