Rocky Ridge is a good, safe place to be. The food is tasty and appealing. The staff is helpful. The people in the community seem mostly friendly. The activities are well scheduled and appropriate. And their cost is right in the middle - higher than some but lower than others in the area.
I would definitely recommend it. Everyone is very friendly, very clean. We had a few hiccups. Those hiccups got worked out.
Things have declined since we put my mother in law in here. The common areas are kept very nicely, but the residents apartments are lacking on cleanliness. The food started out really great but it has gone downhill, the portions are considerably smaller and the quality is not as good, we have heard residents complaining to management about it. They are priced well compared to other facilities that we saw. I would tell others to make sure to address any issues that come up.

Very nice facility clean, quick, response to maintenance issues; manager, assistant manager, and salesperson always quick to assist as needed. Highly recommend.
What was especially unique about Rocky Ridge was they have Angels of Mercy on campus which is a home health agency. You are able to hire them to come in and they are very reasonable compared to the nursing home she was at before. She has a nice big apartment with all of her things and it is just an amazing situation for her. It has been a stellar experience and I would definitely recommend them to others who are looking.
There have been many changes as residents com and go. Most of us come here because of our old ages and we want a place where we can have privacy, have our meals furnished, our apartments cleaned, a place to do our laundry and a place for fellowship!! We have a lot of activities with chances to get acquainted with other people. Another important quality is having aides to help when we are sick and in need. Thank Good-I am safe and my son is happy knowing that I have found home again. Here for 15 years and this home is mine to keep. I have been living here at Rocky Ridge for 15 years. Due to the storm Katrina I had to leave my home Noveau Mare (means new beginnings) own by the same Holiday Co. They made sure we were safe and moved us from New Orleans to their home that had vacancy.
I am thankful my mother resides here. This is a safe, beautiful community with sincerely caring staff. The staff is reliable.
