Staff is great. Overall a great place
The staff are awesome, very friendly and helpful when we have questions. Once she got in the facility The administrative staff has not spoke to us or had any involvement with us or [name removed]. I would have thought they would check with us to see how things are going but there has been none of that. They always have activities for the residents and I see a lot of them participating when I am there which is multiple times a week. I was impressed with the staff, everyone I met was super nice, friendly and professional. The facility was very clean and well maintained. I just haven’t made a firm decision on when to move my loved one.
I have lived here for 3 years and my favorite thing about this place is the quiet neighborhood. I go out on my balcony and can hear the birds singing and being surrounded by so much greenery has helped with my mediations. the outdoor space is wonderful and my pup loves it. Meals are excellent and there are so many activities for me. I recommend Asher Point to everyone I know. It's a nice facility. We have toured others that were nice, vut we were very impressed by this one. Prices are reasonable considering all they provide. The only drawback is there isn't anything available on ground floor.
Overall- excellent! I think it is clean. I've not noticed otherwise. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is good and the value appeared to be the best for the money in town. My mom especially likes numerous bible studies each week and [Name Removed] the pastor. She has made close friends and is very involved in activities such as dominoes and bingo. She loves it when entertainment is provided!

I would say a 4 out of 5 on the experience. It took my mom a while to finally feel comfortable there. The feel of the facility is a little hospital feel maybe due to the age of the building. The staff is kind but the front desk man could be more presentable not in his appearance but as a front desk person being approachable. They have many activities for the residents.
I would give all of the questions above a five. They are an excellent facility. What we like the most about the community is the food and the camaraderie among the residents who live there. Yes, we would recommend Asher Point Independent Living of Tyler to other families.
