Some things we like the most about the community is that it is in a good location and it is kept clean. There have been some upgrades and renovations as well. They have a caring group or residents and staff members. Yes, we would recommend Asher Point to other families
The food is great and the staff has been very helpful. I would definitely recommend Asher Point. It is a beautiful facility and the residents are so welcoming.
The building/grounds appear clean, spacious, and aesthetically pleasing. The outdoor area/courtyard is beautiful. Staff so far have come across as responsive, caring, and helpful. It is a marked improvement from the last place my dad lived and he seems much happier and healthier. my dad has also been participating in scheduled activities and outings at Asher point and has been enjoying those (movie theaters, gardens, etc).
I know that Asher Point recently acquired this property and I can see how they are making every effort possible to make it appealing. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. My friend is in assisted living. Her room is spacious. In addition to the bed she has several pieces of furniture. It has two large closets, a kitchenette with sink and mini fridge. She has everything she needs to be comfortable. The facility is very clean and the staff is very kind and eager to please.
for us it is been more about the transition ( mom to new housing )...so, the facility has been more secondary...but based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend them to other families.
I would have rated 5 on everything. However, they need more staff for such a big place. The meals were tasty, and there seemed to be variety, but really no options for diabetic residents. My brother did not seem to participate in activities enough to tell me what he thought of those. There seems to be plenty of parking and your cars seem safe.
My loved one is currently a resident at Asher Point Senior Living of Austin and the experience at this facility has been great for her so far, even with new ownership. Based on our experience, I would definitely recommend Asher Point Senior Living of Austin to others.

This facility is located in a good area with a lot of restaurants and grocery stores around it. The facility is a bit older. My biggest complaint is the staff turnover, in all areas, which leads to shortages of all kinds. To me, staffing seems crazy prevalent in this kind of setting and that is the hardest part. My mother moved from another facility in Austin. The other facility was more expensive & offered less care, attention, lack of communication & I got the feeling she was not given the support she needed or deserved at their price level. Great move for my mother. It has only been 1 month but I honestly can say, I only wish we had moved her to begin with to the Holiday Renaissance.
