My experience with this company was the worst!(MAY,2022) I scheduled on line for a broken tooth( commercial on TV) upon arrival( Florissant Mo location) the experience went downhill.The office staff do not listen they have a script of how they treat everyone! You must show your dental card if you have one,an X-ray is done you must see the the dental hygienist and then the dentist! I have never left a Yelp review but this place is a snake pit and I hope people read this before scheduling an appointment. They will drag in for as many appointments as possible so they can upcharge you and bill your insurance as frequently as possible. They will find things wrong with your mouth that are not there and they will be extremely unorganized and incapable of communicating what you're there for and why. I have a root canal that needs to be re-done and they are quoting double the cost of two other endodontists... read more

While visiting the St.Louis, area for business, I noticed Aspen Dental across from Wal Mart.Since my dentist back home was booked solid until end of next March, I needed a regular cleaning and thought I'd try Aspen.Well, the front receptionist was very welcoming and understood my situation.I explained that I would be paying cash and before going forward with any consult/exam appt. I wish I could give zero stars. Aspen Dental is a HUGE scam. My experience was a nightmare from the beginning. I called and scheduled a check-up. When I arrived at the office, the receptionist couldn't reach my insurance company, which she made very clear to the whole waiting room. She tells me I need to call the next day and tell them to call the office (not my job). She loudly says my social security number and date of birth in a waiting room full of patients. Extremely slow service. Appointment at 11:30, didnt get call back until 12:08. X-ray and cleaning rooms were so busy i had wait more once i was allowed back. Lack of communication, organization and customer service all around. Please trust these other reviews unlike i did, never thought a dentist office could be such a difficult time.

The worst dentist office. This office you get scammed for life paying for your teeth . I'm like you have to pay for cleaning and 60% of next appointment. They are mean. The dental hygienist said I bit her fingers and I'm nowhere near her damn fingers. Go somewhere else.

Do not go here for anything. My appointment was at 1:30pm and I showed up 15 minutes early like I was instructed to but I had to wait outside until staff finished their lunch. I knocked on the door and when I was finally let in I was greeted with an attitude from staff wondering why I was interrupting their lunch. Why was my appointment scheduled during that time if it's lunch time? But also why does the entire staff go on lunch at the same time? Is that efficient for productivity? Expect to have to explain to this location that the patient is an adult with autism and tremendous fear of the dentist at least every time you go, and most likely SEVERAL times during the appointment. ALL medical professionals should be able to effectively and compassionately treat folks with special needs, of any kind. Not even remotely impressed. Watch out for these crooks and their bait and switch tactics. Ended up getting billed almost $1K for the standard cleaning that I asked for that my pre-verified insurance covered. They proceeded to apparently do and bill for a deep-cleaning, which they were not instructed or authorized to do, claiming it was "necessary." Then they proceed to tell you that since you signed the contract, you are liable for the balance, despite the fact that they contract you for something different than what you asked for.
