Be careful using Aspen Dental, they will bill for things you did not ask for. I was sent home with an electric toothbrush that I did not ask for. I was billed a week later for $135.00. You would think if they were going to charge $135.00 for a toothbrush they would at least ask if you wanted it and that it was $135.00. Not a great way to do business

They refused to clean my teeth at all because I couldn't afford the deep under gum series of cleaning they wanted to do. I have no insurance but my boyfriend has an appointment with them next week and needs extensive work. He has great insurance. We will be cancelling his appointment with Aspen due to their mistreatment of me. If anyone can recommend a good, ethical practice that would be great.

Tried to push an $800 gum treatment, then refused to clean my teeth unless I had the one time treatment. Last year I had a crown and a filling and was very happy. I recommended a friend to try Aspen and he wasn't happy when they tried to push dental treatments he didn't need

BEWARE*** Going to this office is worse than buying a car. They are the most pushy, sales oriented people that just happen to work in a dentist office. If you go here, (and sorry if you have to), just be prepared to for them to try and force you to pay them more money for things you don't need. I had to go here because they are the only place that accepts my HMO. My teeth are in good health, and i just wanted to get a cleaning. My first appointment, was supposed to be a cleaning, but for some reason It took them an hour and ... read more

Usually people walk into a dentist office scared. With Aspen Dental they put that to rest as soon as you walk in with their friendly greeting and are immediately ready to take care of "your" needs. The staff at Grand Strand are wonderful, caring and professional. Both of their hygentis are gentle and thorough. Dr. Mills is one my favorite dentist that has been taking great care of me for the past 4 years. 5 stars.

Going to Aspen Dental is like going to Jiffy Lube with your car for a simple oil change. They both try to sell you thousands of dollars worth of work that you don't necessarily need at the moment. I went in because my crown fell off and I just needed it re-cemented. They tell me I need $4,000 of periodontal work done BEFORE they will do a temp crown and then sell me a new crown. I called a private dentist office next day, the fixed my current crown and put it back in. It's perfect and only cost me my $50 deductible. I sugges... read more

Went in for an exam and was told I had the onset of periodontitis, a couple of cavities, and fillings that needed replaced. I was told that I could not receive a basic cleaning to the severity of these "issues". The office manager told me that I needed to make an appointment ASAP to treat these issues. He wanted a $200 down payment to schedule my first appointment. Overall, I was quoted over $2,000 worth of work that needed to be done. Out of pocket was over $1,000, after insurance. I ended up getting a second opinion at ano... read more
