I liked the people the dentist was very nice explained what'd needed to happen. Then it all went down hill They sent me to waiting room to wait. I have a broken kneecap and waited for a good hour to see the financial person they kept assuring me it wouldn't be long. After an hour I told them I couldn't sit any longer and to please have them call me for tha appointment and whatever else. Said they understood and would Well..... no call ! I would have to agree with the review about the great dental hygienist leaving. She was wonderful and one of the reasons I went there. Now, she is gone. They have hired one now who thinks she runs everything, including what patients can and cannot do. Dentists are competent. However, Aspen puts polices in place for patient care and then changes them on the whim of a dental hygienist. Checking out is a nightmare and they try to get you for all the money they can. I would sooner trust a crook to hold my wallet for me! I have been seeing dentist over 65 years and NEVER had a problem in what the fees were! Aspen did NOT know what BC/BS deluxe dental plan pays for an extraction even though Aspen is listed as one of their dental providers! Myrtle Beach is KNOWN for dishonest businesses, often, residents and especially vacationers are taken advantage of. Just ask anyone who has experienced auto repairs, plumbing problems or HVAC services! They should use KY jelly, it would ease the pain!
I think the regional manager that does the Myrtle Beach area,Dawn, needs to be replaced. Aspen is a management company but she brags about firing 9 employees in a month. That should be up to the owner of the business! They have lost three wonderful employees in the past couple of months in the Myrtle Beach office one being the dental hygienist. Advertises urgent dental care, but when I called with an urgent issue I was told they couldn't see me for a month. False advertising.
Fuck this money hungry place! I'll never be back!! And by the way, if they act like they are "giving" you a high dollar toothbrush after you took on a car payment with them to the tune of 5000, think again.. you bought it.. I was on a dental plan that only uses this office . Now I'm out on that too !! My 6 month dental cleaning was another line of B S.. they wanted double bucks, done done done with this place!! I needed a prescription for an antibiotic prior to dental work due to a kidney transplant. After not getting it I called and left a message but never got a call. I called again after they opened at 11am and finally the medication was filled. I was 5 mins late for my appointment after stopping at the pharmacy. I was sent away for being late. Aspen is not accommodating and has left a bad taste in my mouth. This was going to be my first visit. I will never go back.
its not bad enough my mouth is ruined.. Keith gave me the run around and didn't return my 4 phone calls and only answered when I mentioned Atty Gen. office. called customer said he would call me before end of business that day.. That was 3 weeks ago.. I will not stop till I get my full refund... so I can go to a decent dentist
