Had an appointment for a consultation today. X-rays taken met with Dental Hygienist and was told that I needed a deep root treatment that cost $1200 out of pocket. I asked if they could clean my teeth and was told no and the reason why is b/c they claim I need the deep root treatment first. All I wanted was a cleaning. I will not be going back to Aspen Dental ever again.

They will push like hell to get you in. I was preapproved by my insurance. There was a problem with it and instead of fixing it before the appointment. They went head and rushed me in, making sure I didn't change my mind I guess. Now there is a balance of $1500.00 after I have jumped over a lot of hoops for them getting the insurance fixed. I tried to set up an appointment for myself and my children, it is hard to get someone to set one up. I do not lke the way they push the dentalfirst on you. They charge you for all of the work before it has been completd. They also charge you for a tootbrush,paste,and rinse without tellng you the cost. To me this is fraud. When I finish my cleaning I will be finished with them.

When I made my appointment, I told them my wisdom tooth was broken in pieces and the remaining root needed to be removed. I was asked if a doctor told me this, and i informed them that yes, the last dentist I went to did. When I arrived for my appointment, not one person asked why I was there, and proceeded to tell me that I needed 6000 dollars worth of work done, and what did I feel comfortable paying a month. If I could give NO stars, I would. Went for a root canal, and wound up with a butcher job of an extraction that took an hour and a half - pure torture. On top of that, she left a root and piece of tooth, AND hit a nerve, causing numbness in my upper lip and part of my nose. I was told to come back, and given a 4:00 appt. I waited until 5:30 to see the dentist, he took an x-ray and confirmed the problem, but said he didn't have time to fix it, and I would have to come back the next day! Are you kidding me?? Was very disappointed. I wanted to get a tooth pulled because it was broken.. I go in and all they want is to do a bunch of ex-rays and tell me how bad my teeth are. I came out crying I don't have 8,000 dollars for the high prices they charge . I would have to sell my car.

Complete waste of time! I had a 4:15 appointment and was not called back until after 5. One member of the staff did briefly apologize saying they were short staffed. They took a huge number of X-rays then sat me in a chair to wait again for the hygienist. She was too busy so the dentist came in first. He said everything looked great but the hygienist would be in to do some measurements. I think she finally came in around 5:45. I was 15 mins late for my appointment due to bad weather and traffic on 501. When I walked in, I was told my appointment was cancelled because I was late. Good job of juggling appointments around it's easy to do. Thanks so much for wasting my time Aspen. My husband and I were customers there for the last 3 years. We won't be back.

Go someplace else. Very disappointed. Terrible service, unorganized and worse yet they add charges to your bill without explanation. Will never go back.
