I went in for a wisdom tooth extraction. The dentist that was working on me said they were short staffed and had me handing him instruments during the extraction. A few days later, I went in because the pain was worse than before I went in. He glanced at it, said Im gonna be ok, take the antibiotics and sent me on my way. Aspen Dental in Anderson, SC could do better by keeping their promises. I was told I'd get a full refund for a root canal and crown that they messed up on and told me to just go to advanced endodontics who would fix it by a dentist named Taylor. I spent seven months waiting for my full refund and was told multiple times by representatives like Nick who I come to find out was a 'temp" that they just "couldn't get a hold of" that my refund was coming only to find out at the end that I wasn't getting my full refund. My experience: This place is scam operation. Everybody that walks in the door has periodontic disease and needs a deep cleaning. And that deep cleaning is $400 and only covers three regions. Then you have to continually come back. Save yourself the time and money and don't go here.

I made a appointment with this company primarily because when I called around the receptionist said that since I did not have dental insurance & since I was a new costumer they would do the initial exam and x-rays free I.e.no charge. In addition she QUOTED me a " special " price for tooth cleaning $84 vs $105 and for a tooth extraction $160 vs $200. receptionist are nice, but the dentist is a dick. i called last week to make an appointment so i could get a referral to go an oral surgeon, i did not know that they had one, nor that he only comes once a month. i don't have time to wait a month for the stupid oral surgeon, so i ask for the referral and the dentist yells at the receptionist telling her he wont write me a referral something that takes less than a minute & something i need to go to a cheaper dentist. the price to remove all wisdom teeth was $2,000 thats ridicu... read more

Don't Fall For There deep cleaning scam!!! We fell for that in 2015 from another place and 6 months ago out teeth were perfect now we need it done again nice try!!!! They refused to clean our teeth total waist of time. Also the x-ray experience was more painful and torture than having a tooth pulled!!!!

I only gave one star because you can't give no stars. This place is a total rip off. I came in for xrays, a check up and cleaning. I changed my dental plan and they were the only available dentist in my area to accept the plan. They told me I have severe gum disease, I have infections below the gum line, need deep scaling and ongoing medication applications to prevent tooth loss. The charge was close to $2000 to do all that. They refused to do a regular cleaning. I didn't understand this because I was not having any gum... read more

I should have read the other reviews before I made an appointment at this place. I just came back from Aspen Dental from what should have been my initial appointment. I just wanted a cleaning but was told that my initial visit would have to be an exam, etc as they would have to see what kind of cleaning I needed, I said fine and went for the appt. today.
