BILLING IS A RIP OFF. THEY WOULD NOT EVEN SEND IN THE PAPER WORK TO MY INSURANCE SO I COULD GET AN ESTIMATE OF THE COST. They wanted to pull two teeth that are in perfect condition because they did not have opposing teeth. The teeth do not bother me at all. I still chew on that side!! Then they said I needed a new crown because the one I have is worn down. $1200.00. They want to charge $230.00 to see the hygienist and then $800.00 for a partial planing. My wife had a tooth filled at the Port Charlotte Aspen location last week and it was giving her pain ever since. So I tell her to go back and have them take a look. So she spends her whole morning trying to get someone on the phone. Took 4 hours to talk to a receptionist. When she gets there, before they even look at her tooth, they say it will be $280 for them to look at the problem that they clearly caused. The high estimate on their own website for a bridge is $1,500. My estimate was $3,700 with insurance. Liars.
First thing I would like to say is the two dentists I saw were great and compassionate. With that said they are way too good for this place and hope for their career’s sake they leave! The manager is like a sleazy used car salesman with absolutely no empathy, not the kind of person who should be in healthcare! I went in with horrible tooth pain at 10:15 in the morning and left only finding out what was wrong at 1:30! I needed to have a tooth extracted and had to come back at 4:00pm to have it done. RecommendedSuper people! Had to wait 45 minutes once in an exam room :( but the experience with the dentist and tech was super. My husband had dentures made by another dentist in Lehigh Acres about 2 1/2 yrs ago and couldn't wear them even after several adjustments. We explained this to the dentist and after seeing the dentures in the mouth he knew exactly why. About 2 years ago an Aspen dentist recommended dentures for my dental problems: Full uppers & partial lowers. The recommended plan included crowns for 4 of the remaining 6 lower teeth. At that time I asked about the advisability of removing all my teeth & getting full upper & lowers dentures. I was told I would be much happier if I followed the Aspen recommendation.
