I rescheduled an appointment today. The next available was tomorrow, which is not enough notice to give my employer, or Sept.11th. 7 months later. Pretty ridiculous you just built this brand new building but your existing patients have to wait 7 months to be able to get in.

1. They could hire a dental hygienist. The local office is booking more than 6 months out. 2. The filling i had two years ago fell out. I still have most of my fillings from high school so it shouldn't happen. Also, now it's a different type of filling my insurnace won't cover. The long and short of it, they did a crappy job and now it's going to cost me.

I don’t usually complain but Aspen Dental in Rome really sucks. I recently changed dental insurance and they are in my network. I called yesterday to set up an appointment for this morning. They asked for all of my information and said that I’m all set. They called and left me a message asking me to confirm the appointment. I called them back to confirm and they said you’re all set for tomorrow’s appointment. I have been going to the same office for quite a number of years - I have always gotten very good service until this last time - I twas time for my 6 month check-up 1) the hygenist only used hand tools to clean my teeth so they didn't feel as good as they usually do 2) Without asking me the hygienist (whom I had never seen before) gave me a fluoride treatment, I asked after she was done what she did & when she told me I told her that my insurance doesn't cover it. Seriously disgusted with this place and I haven't even been there yet. Several friends and family told me to not even consider Aspen Dental, but about 50 of the dental surgeons MetLife has on the in network list are with Aspen Dental. I was told by MetLife that I could call dental facilities to get a price range for extractions. NOPE!! Not at Aspen Dental. The receptionist stated that until she runs my insurance she can't quote a price range, I said Ok run my insurance, she says she needs an appointment set up first, I said ... read more

I went in with a broken tooth. They did X-rays and evaluated my tooth. They told me I needed a root canal or an extraction. A dental hygentist came into the room and started selling me some dental plan. I felt like I was at a car dealership. I have insurance but was still quoted $1800 out of pocket for a root canal! If that isn't price gouging, I don't know what is. I didn't go back. I went to my actual dentist who told me I didn't even need a root canal or extraction. The dentist is the bomb digity...Damian is awesome!!! Annalise is awesome in front too...but the some others who work there are pushers of products u may not need.....not happy w my husband's $3000 plus need at a last night appt and I will be coming in to speak about this!

Before switching to Aspen, I thought going to the dentist was supposed to be a miserable, painful experience every time. I've been the Aspen a couple times now and had different hygienists each time. When I'm there and being worked on, I feel nearly as relaxed as I would be at a spa. Additionally, they're very thorough and keep me informed about my oral health which was not the case at my old office. The staff seems generally pretty young currently which made me weary at first, but now I'm convinced my old office was a bunch... read more
