I came in as a new patient and here is my experience. I showed up to an early morning appointment and wait over an hour to be seen for x-rays and exam. The tech and dentist were pleasant which is the only good. Besides the hour plus wait my biggest issue is their stated procedure on requirement at least 60% prepayment for ANY procedure to be even scheduled. Had dental surgery three weeks back and went in other day for check up and adjust partials and was told my insurance did not pay a little over $300 of total bill which I thought ok no problem. Before I was even seen for the check up and adjustment I was told they would not see me after that visit until I paid what insurance did not cover. I guess if anything goes wrong with partials or something to do with the surgery on my gums I am screwed and on my own until I can pay up. My dentures broke in half this morning. Just called to make an appointment to get them repaired and was told it would be sometime in JUNE before they could see me.
The wait in the lobby was 45 minutes! After my cleaning, the wanted to make a new appointment to adjust my partial-another charge of course. I was put in a room to wait for the appointment. I left AFTER 25 minutes!
Horrible issues with billing, because the insurance didn't pay fast enough, and I was over billed based upon the contracted amount. Aspen Dental told me that I needed to pay the bill or they would refer it to the credit bureau. The entire company isn't transparent and will not provide the number to management in New York. Aspen Dental is rated D+ on BBB. Still waiting for my $300+ to be refunded.
Worse service ever!!!! Dr. Patel didn’t accurately chart his notes from our previous visit and that caused me additional charges. Dr. Goodell did not honor our appointment time during this visit. Dr. Goodell kept us waiting over two hours and was very unprofessional and didn’t seem to even care that her unprofessional service was a problem. Had apt at 1045 but had to wait til 1120 to be seen. Receptionist just appologized but never made it right. X Rays and cleaning does not take this long......
I’m scheduled for a procedure today. They actually tired to get more money out of me before I even had anything done. $50 to schedule and now they don’t even know what I’m getting done (it’s between a root canal or filling) and they trying to extort another $172 from me.
