They say to raise your hand if you're uncomfortable. I have fairly bad gag reflex and couldn't breathe and they held me down so I'd stop raising my hand to take a deep breathe. Never again.
The professionals in this office are great people. Anyone "behind the scenes" is great' the Dr (Dr Ivan) and the hygienist (Britney) are two great people, along with Dr Ivan's charside assistant (due to a lack of understanding her true title). HOWEVER, the front office staff, not so great, and absolutely NO "beside manners". Poor system for communication. Endless phone wait time and too many options that lead to nowhere. The delightful option to get online and make your own appointment was completely off putting as well...................
THIS IS THE WORST DENTIST OFFICE AROUND REMEMBERING WHY THIS WAS MY LAST CHOICE TO BEGIN WITH.. REMEMBER ASPEN DENTAL TO AT LEAST LISTEN TO YOUR PATIENTS I GET IT YOUR THE DENTIST I NEVER WANT TO COME BACK HERE! IF ONLY IT WASN'T HARD TO FIND A REAL DENTIST AROUND HERE!
This place is nothing but a scam, they gave my brother the wrong dentured (from someone els records) and addmited to screwing up and said they aould make him a new pair, when he went in for his new pair they tryed to charg him again and when he reacted they made a big seen and blew it out of porportion said he hit one of the workers and called the cops on him and had him arrested, so they didnt have to make right on what they messed up on! When I called for an appointment I explained that I had lost a crown and just wanted it to be replaced. I have my own dentist in NH but am staying in Maine for a month. They booked me as a new patient. The tech who brought me in (an hour after the scheduled time) argued with me, wanting me to have a complete set of X-rays and an exam. I insisted that I just wanted the crown replaced. When I finally saw the dentist she was great. I arrived at the office at 8:30 and didn't leave until after 11:00 which was ridiculous.
