They tried to up sell me. I was told I needed a procedure for over $9000 that had nothing to do with why I came in. I had been to two dentists in the last 8 months and neither one said anything about this procedure. This was my second time going to aspen dental and each time they tried to up sell me.
It was the worst experience I ever had going to a dentist office. I was completely misinformed about my treatment plan by the dentist and the receptionist that works there. I was told by one dentist that I could get filling done on my molar, so I rescheduled another appointment only to be told at the 2nd appointment by the other dentist that works there she will not touch my tooth!!! I went to get 8 teeth extracted today, I went to Aspen Dental Wilkes Barre by far my worst mistake ever. Was told it would be a couple hour procedure and I would be put to sleep. It ended up being not even an hour procedure and I didnt get put to sleep. When I asked why he was doing work and I wasnt sleeping he said he didnt know. Told him I could feel him pulling the teeth and he was hurting me. His response was "I cant give you anymore pain meds cause your blood pressure is up" & "it hurts cause you wont go to sleep"...wow... read more
Customer service is all talk and poor treatment. Little, if any, consideration for patient's time and trouble to get to their office. Went to appointments only to be told that they had scheduled the appointment when the person who needed to be there was off. There are many other places to consider that may actually practice the customer service Aspen promises.
Every time I come here there is some ridiculous problem. 90% of the staff is rude. All they want is money.
Aspen Dental is fine if you appreciate dental offices that are run similar to a used car dealership. Two quick points to make; the 4.7 positive rating in FB is somewhat deceiving as the follow up questionnaire they send you is set up to only redirect positive reviewers to FB, and reviews for Aspen on other sites such as Yelp are significantly lower. I'm so blessed right now. No words can't describe how blessed I am. We went to Aspen Dental in Wilkes-Barre. When we went in an checked in. Tommy was in so much pain he started shaking. We were able to go in. He got a CAT scan, clean his teeth an tooth that was infected that was causing all this pulled out. All of this costed about $900 almost $1,000. The staff is very friendly and quite professional, but this Company is CROOKED!! They push you to get dentures every time. Thank God I'm smart enough to get a second opinion!!! DO NOT GO HERE!! if you do, get a second opinion before they take all your teeth out!!
If I'm complaining of a toothache, why would they file down my beautiful tooth and put on a temporary cap. I'm not feeling them at all. I am taking medication for pain, the pain is in my left eye, the left side of my face,and temple, as well as the tooth itself.....
