My dogs have been patients here for about a year. Have always had a wonderful experience. We have had two pet emergencies and the staff couldn't have been better to work with. Dr. Good has been especially helpful. Highly recommend AVAH!

My dog went to AVAH for 11 years and I still can't come up with a negative. Dr. Evans was Zakks primary Doctor but he saw many of the Drs there. It starts with the amazing crew up front. They take the time to get to know you and your pet. I could walk in, keep in mind I only went when I needed to go, and they knew me immediately. All the techs are wonderful people. It was very obvious they liked what they do by the extra care that's spent with your pet. I would hear them take Zakk back to get his weight and the other techs... read more
RecommendedMy animals have been going to Dr. Evans and Dr. Henry (retired) for over 20 years! We moved an hour away but I still bring my pets back to Staunton.
Dr. Evans is the best. He was not at all intimidated by my large breed protectomatic and I learned so much from Dr. Evans - even though I've had this dog for 9 years. The Aides, vet techs, and front workers are always kind, considerate, and helpful. I feel very confident in Augusta Valley Animal Hospital and would not hesitate to recommend them! An outstanding operation!!
This is a few years late but love this office! From Dr. Evans who performed exams in the lobby a few times with our stubborn Saint Bella. To everyone on the staff that smiled and looked genuinely excited to see our sweet giant. And they also showed compassion and genuine sadness when it got to be that time. Did have one question though; any recommendations for vets in Charlottesville? Sounds like we might be looking again....

The staff at AugustaValley Animal are so wonderful, every time I bring my kids and grandkids(pets) there they take great care of them , like they are their own... I highly recommend them to everyone I work with and know. They don't cut corners when it comes to pet care...
Dr. Evans is awesome. Great first experience a lot of hand's on interaction that my puppy Sven didn't receive from his previous vet. Plus Dr.Evans is also a Labrador Retriever owner also so he was able to give me some good pointers on training Sven.I highly recommend Augusta / Valley Animal Hospital.
