WELCOME TO AVON ORAL & MAXILLOFACIAL SURGERY Our practice in Avon, Indiana was founded in 1976. Dr. Robert McDonough joined the practice in 1989, Dr. Kevin Stockton in 1996, Dr. Gabriel Hostalet in 2005, and Dr. Jared Shelton in 2017. The owner moved the practice from downtown Indianapolis to Avon in 1981. Our Oral Surgery building is a state-of-the-art facility with seven surgical suites, a recovery room, and three consultation rooms.

We love this place and if we have any other needs for oral surgery- we will go back there. Our daughter needed jaw surgery to correct an under bite. The entire team was amazing. Loretta, the office manager walked us through the insurance mess and took care of it. Dr. Shelton did an amazing job in surgery. It was 'text book' and Taryn recovered well. I had a tooth pulled today. It took longer to get numb then it did to pull the tooth. I am so glad I chose to go here to have this done. Everyone was so kind!! Dr. Hostalet even called to see how I was doing. Thank you!
Was well taken care of while I was there for wisdom teeth removal. Friendly staff. Only disappointed in the fact that no one called to check on me a few days afterwards.
Thanks for taking good care of me yesterday. These wisdom teeth were long over due to come out .I had almost a 2 hour ride each direction and I was extremely nervous. Such a nice and professional staff.
Our experience here was definitely a 5 out of 5! We were all nervous to have the wisdom teeth extracted but the staff made us feel at ease with the whole process. My son has a health condition which made us nervous about being put under, but they called his physician checked his medications and made sure they had clearance and a good feeling about it before they would do it.
