WELCOME TO AVON ORAL & MAXILLOFACIAL SURGERY Our practice in Avon, Indiana was founded in 1976. Dr. Robert McDonough joined the practice in 1989, Dr. Kevin Stockton in 1996, Dr. Gabriel Hostalet in 2005, and Dr. Jared Shelton in 2017. The owner moved the practice from downtown Indianapolis to Avon in 1981. Our Oral Surgery building is a state-of-the-art facility with seven surgical suites, a recovery room, and three consultation rooms.

I had wisdom tooth extraction, and I never needed pain meds after. They were efficient and kind. And checked up on me after. I would recommend to anyone.
Husband referred to have tooth pulled. Doctor found mass likely cancer on xray and did biopsy instead. He sent the biopsy to an out of network lab without our consent. The cost is over $6,000 and what we pay will be out of our pocket and not applied to our in network out of pocket maximum. Very mad about this doctor’s decision to slap us with a large bill on top of all the other cancer bills we will get. Doctor and staff are not considerate of patients.
This awesome team bent over backwards for me under difficult circumstances. sure it's what they do everyday. But for me it was the absolute best service, gentleness, compassion, consideration, I could go on and on. These professionals are the absolute best!
had two extractions, first was a piece of cake, second was more difficult, a lot of the tooth was gone already. it still went very well. the dentist was very skilled.
