WELCOME TO AVON ORAL & MAXILLOFACIAL SURGERY Our practice in Avon, Indiana was founded in 1976. Dr. Robert McDonough joined the practice in 1989, Dr. Kevin Stockton in 1996, Dr. Gabriel Hostalet in 2005, and Dr. Jared Shelton in 2017. The owner moved the practice from downtown Indianapolis to Avon in 1981. Our Oral Surgery building is a state-of-the-art facility with seven surgical suites, a recovery room, and three consultation rooms.

Friendly and very good at what they do
It was a great experience. All of the staff were great, from the front desk, the surgery assistant, Dr McDonough, the recovery room staff and the staff that walked us out. Would definitely recommend this practice. They explained things well and gave good post on instructions.

Setting the appointment was easy, and the online pre-registration process was handy. The staff, nurses, and doctors were cheerful despite being really busy the day I was there to have a tooth pulled. In addition, you were told at every stage what was going to happen next. All there were most professional.
