Get directionsThe staff has been really helpful. We had a very quick move. They helped us get a room set up and also helped us with moving resources. They have been very accommodating. The area is very clean. The residents have been welcoming and friendly. Everything has been going great. My loved one seems to really like it here. I would highly recommend the Azalea Trails. This is a nice community with great people.
The staff at Azalea Trails is simply outstanding. They have addressed any questions that I have had right away. They have changed nurses once or twice, but that happens, and all the nurses that they have had have been great from all I can tell. Overall it is really a great place. I like the facility. One thing I liked about them over some of the other places I looked at was the peace of mind that their safety and security procedures give you. They have really been great and I am happy to have my parents there.
We have been extremely pleased with the memory care unit of Azalea Trails! It is very clean, staff is great with Mom! We would recommend this place to anyone!
My parents came to Azalea Trails after another facility that was a horrible experience. The people at Azalea Trails were simply wonderful. My husband and father went and toured the place and were very impressed. Unfortunately my mom was injured and ended up passing away and never got to stay there, but they were truly wonderful to deal with. I got to stay in a guest room for a time when things were tough, and they were truly wonderful. I would highly recommend them. They are adequately staffed to take care of the residents, ... read more
My mother was at Azalea Trails for only a month. I was very impressed with how clean and friendly it was. I live in Missouri, so I never had a chance to visit while my mother was in residence there. At first reports were encouraging regarding her participation in activities and meals. Problems soon arose regarding her resistance to cooperating with her caretakers. Azalea management informed us that they did not have adequate staff to give my mother the care she needed, and they told us we needed to take her out. We were very... read more

Very difficult to recoup money when facility does not keep the promises and expectations they give to clients. For example, staff promised a weekend admission and after I arranged several schedules of family to make this happen, other staff said absolutely no weekend admissions. The regional manager refused to refund the [fee removed] we put down for the weekend admission.

I would not recommend at all. I have even applied to work there to help make changes. There activities are awful. They need some activities. For what we pay, there should be more things going on for residents. I have spoken with other family members and its the same consensus. It is bad. The food is not healthy food. It's all pre packaged food. My loved one doesn't like the food. They don't seem to be given the residents a better quality of life. This place act's like just provides a bed to sleep. I am really disappointed.
From November to July was wonderful for us. Starting in July there was a staff member who brought in COVID and the community wasn't able to handle in combating this for the residents. Due to this we had to move my loved ones to another community. Azalea Trails offered lots of activities for the residents; however, they didn't promote these activities. I feel corporate was trying to get as much money out of the residents as possible.
We chose Azalea Trails for the memory care unit for my MIL. She had Lewy Body Dementia. We were given a great song and dance about how wonderful it would be and that they could provide the level of care she needed. The marketing, website, tour and talks were great but we soon realized they were all a lie. They were not able to provide the level of care promised. Workers did not like their job and it showed. There was no compassion and love just sighs and grunts and anger that they had to take care of her. We would be told sh... read more
