Best veal chops I have ever had!!!!!!!
Everything we ordered was divine: soft shell crab, tagliatelle, spinach salad with a poached egg and pork belly, tuna, and halibut. The BEST thing, though, was the veal chop. Highly recommend it.
John, Here is what makes you an excellent server: first of all, you made a great wine recommendation that paired well and you added a personal touch to the recommendation by sharing how you enjoy it. You were attentive but not overbearing. But MOST OF ALL, you listened. Bacchus is a beautiful restaurant and has a special atmosphere. Meals are well prepared and elegantly served. Always an enjoyable experience.
This was our second trip to Bacchus, arriving 5 minutes early, we were seated right away. Our server (Susie?) was very friendly, and knowledgeable about the wine list and menu. Small Plates were wonderful, Salads tasty, my tuna entree frankly was just OK, although my wife's filet was wonderful. Wine was just as we had hoped, and desert & coffee were fabulous. This is probably the best restaurant in Milwaukee. The food is exquisite. Everything is just perfectly prepared from the best ingredients and artfully presented. The service is also perfect and I just love the wine list.
