It was my first wedding anniversary
Our adult family of 6 dined at Bacchus Saturday evening, to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday. The evening was simply devine! We had never been here and I was anxious to try it because our daughter and son-in-law had their first date here! I also heard that the food was excellent and none of us were let down. We had a great experience at Bacchus. We spent way too much time in the bar prior to dinner (got there early) and had a great bartender! Had a great cheese app at the bar and with a few great specialty cocktails. Dinner was very good also. Decided to do small plates and they accommodated dividing up entrees into 4. Would go again but next time may just eat and hang out at the bar.
Being a vegetarian I was truly appreciative of a special menu of my own. I enjoyed not having to "hunt" for something that I could eat.
Overall it was just ok. The service was good and the atmosphere was nice. If I had paid less for the meal I would have rated it higher it that makes sense. It was very expensive for the amount if food you received and it was not the best I have had. So overall it was just ok in my opinion.
We have celebrated several special occasions with Bacchus and we are always treated with such warmth and professionalism. It is always an amazing experience with this group. The atmosphere is very upper class and romantic. We both had the filet and it was prepared to perfection. The chef substituted a different vegtable for my wife uopn her request. Very small portions but delicious food. A wonderful place to dine for a special occasion or nice meal.
Variety of menu items including small plate entrees. Extensive wine list. Excellent food and service.
I had a wonderful time. Great food, fantastic service and friendly staff make this an exceptional place to dine. This definitely gets a big Thumbs-up!
